Research and Transcription Services
No matter what audio or video file you send us for transcription, there will always be some level of research needed, in order to make sure that the transcript is accurate. For instance, if you have sent a medical or technical interview, there will likely be jargon, product names, company names, procedures or studies that need to be researched and spelt correctly. Our transcriptionists are great researchers, however, it is always prudent send us as much information as possible when you transfer your files for transcription (spellings for names, products, technical terms, agendas, presentations, useful websites, etc.). Sending relevant information will reduce the research time, makes additional research easier, helps your transcriptionist build a archive or information for you next recording and of course, speeds up turnaround times.
Proofreading and Transcription Services
To keep the costs to the client low, we ask the transcriptionists to proofread their own work, and do not use a second proofreader for our standard transcriptions. However, we do offer a second proofreader transcription service for clients that feel that their transcripts must be faultless and feel happier knowing that their transcript has been checked twice for accuracy. When using our second proofreading service, our qualified proofreaders will read your transcript alongside you audio or video recording to ensure that the transcript accurately mirrors the dialogue spoken, and will also fact check and cross reference information contained within your transcript.
Experienced Transcriptionists
All of our transcriptionists are required to have at least five years experience in their chosen industry or sector. They must pass Transcription City typing and accuracy tests, and also sign confidentiality (non disclosure) agreements before they are allowed to commence work with us. Rest assured that your transcripts will be typed with care and accuracy.
