All to suit your individual requirements. If you are not entirely sure which type of transcription service you would be the best fit, we are always happy to discuss the pros and cons. We can go through every option to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your chosen video transcription service. Below are just a few of the video transcription, video translation and video logging services we offer. We do of course provide many more video transcription options, so be sure to contact us if you require any additional information.

Time Coded Video Transcription

Time coded video transcription is a form of transcript which includes time stamps at pre-specified intervals. These correlate with either the speech or visual content of the video that you have sent for transcription. This can be particularly useful for video editing. It can save you from watching endless hours of video. Time coded video transcription is also often utilised by researchers who wish to find particular pieces of information within a video recording.

Online Video Captioning Services

Video captioning can be either open captions (burnt into the video itself and therefore always visible). Or closed captions (the viewer can turn the captions on or off at will). We offer both open captioning services and closed captioning services to our clients. This gives you the freedom and control to decide which option works best for you, your company or your clients. Captioning is designed to make video more accessible to viewers who are deaf, hard of hearing or unable to listen to the content of the video.

Captioning often confused with subtitling. As a rule of thumb captioning will include all sounds that are integral to the plot or content of the video. For example THUNDER STRIKES, A LOUD KNOCK AT THE DOOR, THE FLOOR BOARDS CREEK. These audio clues tell a story that is left incomplete without them. Subtitles contain dialogue only and so are generally used for viewers who do not speak the source language.

Foreign Language Video Subtitling Services

As discussed above, subtitles display the dialogue of a video, programme or film. These can be displayed in the source language. However, most often a translation of the dialogue to allow speakers of a foreign language to enjoy the content. We provide video translation services and foreign language video subtitling services in a variety of languages, using experienced translators and linguists to ensure that the original meaning of the words always remains and that the timings of your subtitles are always perfectly in sync.

Video Logging Services

We often assist in what can be the laborious task of video logging. We are a happy to work to your specifications, create templates or use your existing templates to log your rushes (either with or without transcription or dialogue).
